OUR CONVENIENT LOCATION MAKES
ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
We are located halfway, by boat,
between Chicago and Miami on the beautiful Erie Canal System in
central New York.
The NYS Canal System joins the
Great Lakes with the Atlantic ocean. At Lock 23 on the
Erie Canal, we are almost exactly at the center of the waterway.
Founded in 1968, Ess-Kay Yards has
been built up to be one of the most complete large marina
facilities on the Erie Canal. Ess-Kay Yards occupies the
former marina facilities of Ace Boat Yard, a respected local
Oneida Lake marine service and machine shop founded in the late
1930s.
Family owned and operated by the
George E. Mann family, the marina has a long tradition of
quality service, warmth and hospitality. The tradition
continues today as Kim, George's daughter, helps guide the
marina into the twenty-first century.
